I found it easy to use. It walks you through each issue and asks enough questions to give confidence that the finished return is completed correctly and any deductions or credits will be found and applied.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

The downloadable software is fine for very basic tax filings, but if you have anything more complicated, it's far more worth it to go with TurboTax or an in person accountant. H&R Block hasn't figured out summary views for investments, easy views for filing changes from year to year, or multi-state e-filing. The latter meaning you'll need to have a printer, envelopes, and stamps to file in 2020 for software that promised e-filing.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For someone itemizing medical for the first time and doing their own taxes for only the 2nd time, this was pretty easy to use. I had some difficulty being I've never done this, but overall it was a good product.
