Been using the federal/state software for a decade with MacBook Pro. Pretty solid and easy to follow the data entry flow. Online help is well-done as well.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Schedule A and Form 8829

Had to do a work-around due to program calculation errors in Sch A for "state and local real estate tax" and "mortgage interest and points reported on Form 1098." Form 8829 for business use of home calculated correctly, but data mentioned above for Sch A almost doubled for each line. Would not have caught this had I not compared to 2 previous year returns (also used H&R Block those years). I spent so many hours trying to figure this out that I don't think I'm buying this program again.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
