Their program works great, BUT…
Their working screen is artificially narrow. I made the font larger & it runs off of their narrow screen. My large screen is useless. I sent them an email identifying the problem & didn't even receive an acknowledgement. I get a headache trying to work with their artificially narrow screen.
I wish I could cut & paste from their screens. It would be handy to have their specific instructions in a document on my PC.

Good, but not as good as previous years.

I have used HR block for several years. While this works, this years is not as user friendly. Did not fully import prior years return and gave notifications during review, but does not take you to the problem. Had to go find and fix myself.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not very user friendly. Many questions that did not give me direction to where to find the answer.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Overall, a good program. I have used it for several years. However, this year the program refused to update. It said it downloaded the update but it would not install the update. And until the program was updated, it would not complete a couple of tax forms. I uninstalled the complete program, downloaded the program using the cardboard USB thing I received in the mail, and reinstalled several times. Finally, on the fourth or fifth uninstall/reinstall process, the program downloaded and installed all updates and allowed me to complete my taxes. I did not change any Windows, Chrome or HRB settings at any time. It just magically fixed itself after multiple uninstall/reinstalls.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I have used this program for years. This is the first time I tried to pay my bill with a credit card and the convenience fee is ridiculously high and I will pay by check if I can figure out how. You may have lost my business.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
