I've used H&R block tax software for years. It's easy to use and way cheaper to do my own taxes with the software than go to an accountant or tax firm.

One problem, minor issues

We I tried to enter 1098 T information for two married taxpayers, it kept putting only the husband’s name on the education credit form for the wife. I could not find any way to correct it.
Also there are instances where names and SS numbers are carried over from last years return but addresses are not. It could save considerable work if they were .

1st time using as an option to Turbo Tax that I've used for over a decade. HR's program is faster and asked fewer personal questions than TTs - which have nothing to do with taxes and intrusive to the point you wonder if they're a computerized IRS Agent. Much better!

The software was otherwise fine, but I found out from the state of MO that the system filed my taxes incorrectly, having left a critical field blank. Additionally, the state requires additional documentation to prove that I am not a resident of the state, which the software did not prompt me to mail.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
