I have used the H&R Block software for the last 6 years. It has always been easy to use, clear in terms of the information it ask for. You need to collection all of the information requested before starting to save time.

Good news....it keeps info from year to year and does a good job on basic tax stuff. Do not have to do all the math yourself and you can efile.
Bad news...for complex stuff, think K1s, I think it leaves a lot to be desired. i feel if you don't know what to do, this is not going to help you.

I've used this tax software for years and appreciate the cost savings and the easy step by step process for filling out the tax forms. It takes the chore out of learning the constantly changing tax requirements and provides good explanation throughout the process.
