I have a suggestion.......

I have a suggestion. You need to connect the question on the left of a row to the answer box on the right end of the row with dots.......... I have to use a mouse magnifier due to my bad eyes. When entering data from the 1099's you have to be very careful to avoid entering data in the wrong row.
PS: One other thing, when I was about to file my return the program did a data verification check and wanted me to enter the data from line 5d & 5e of the 2018 Schedule-A. It should have known there was no Schedule-A since the standard deduction was used. The program would not continue until I put an amount in the two boxes. The program continued okay and no tax data was changed.

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe Software since 2014 and will continue using it because it is easy to use and is thorough with the questions that satisfy me that my tax return is accurate and complete. I did have difficulty downloading the software that I purchase on line this year.

I’ve used H&R Block software for the past 10 years. I always find it to be accurate and complete in the process. I’ve never had any problems with the IRS when I use H&R Block software.

That the state program is not up to date and it did not input any updates. Although I went through the program filling out the information sought, at the end it said I needed additional information but did not inform or take me to the area that was lacking. When I sought help through chat assistance, it was nothing less than frustrating. The matter was never resolved. Although I will use the federal program in the future, I will never buy the state program again.
