couldn't get around in it for the ads at first just don't want any more
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Your software caused me to purchase the State Tax software twice. I need a refund for the second purchase that I'll never use.

I have been using HR Block for 20 years, dating back to when it was called Taxcut. It seems fairly simple and straightforward. I do not understand all of the forms that it generates, etc. but I have not been audited in all those years. The IRS has billed me for small increases in my taxes occasionally and I just pay it instead of reacting any other way. I have never used a CPA and I wonder if I would be paying less taxes that way. By the time I would get all of my information together for the accountant I could then just enter the figures into this easy question and answer format. That actually happened last year. It seemed prudent, because of my age, to begin with a CPA. But then I had every figure ready to go and I just plugged them into this program.
