Switched from Turbo Tax Deluxe this filing season. Price was the main motivation to change. The H&R Block software worked well enough to get my Federal and State taxes done, but the interface was less intuitive and more "clunky" than Turbo Tax.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

This was the first year that we didn't have to itemize and this program was super easy. It was easy to complete and I trust the accuracy of the program.

confusing printing and filing.

After e-filing it is confusing to print and file state return. Printing- for filing-state return used to include e-file form of federal. Now it is up to me to print fed return for state filing.

Used to use TurboTax but then switched when they jacked the price way up. Used H&R for several years but decided to switch back last year due to a good deal at costco. Don't bother. It was harder to use and I thought the explanations were less clear. H&R is better software for $30 less.

H&R Block Tax Software is in my opinion the best tax software out there. I have used it for years and have never once been disappointed. I use to many years ago sit and figure my taxes long form, short form and in between to get the best tax out come and as you can guess that takes a lot of time to do. H&R Bock Tax Software does all of that for me automatically. They cover every aspect of my financial situation that you could possibly think of. It is truly a great Tax Software Program.
