Have been using the product for 15 years or more. I started when it was called Taxcut
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

As in past years the software did a good job for me until the final step. When I tried to transmit my efiled returns the software required a program update. I wonder why especially since the sfw was up to date . When I pressed the update button the "server" was broken and I had to go to the website to download. Those instructions weren't crystal clear but after some fumbling around I got the program updated and finished filing.

Too confusing

I have used Turbo Tax for years, and decided to ty H&R Block. That was a mistake! I can't see my finished product, and when I tried to save my return as a PDF I was unable to, even with downloading their PDF program. There was no simple summaries, and if I wanted to see what I had entered, I had to go through the entire program again! UGH!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using this software for 4 years now and has always been very quick and painless. Would have gotten 5 stars, but could not find a form from last year. Had to dig out last year's paper work to find it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Always reliable. On-screen forms look less like the actual paper forms do than some others; amount you will print out for your own records if you follow recommendations is cumbersome. Helps prevent you from making mistakes by forcing you to double check you work before submitting it, which is a huge plus. Interview format helps you make sure you are submitting data for all forms needed to get a maximum refund. Very affordable for what one gets, especially in non-income tax states. Usually easy to retrieve prior year returns for data comparisons.
