State program for KY is not good. Not much help with most forms and it gave bad advice with regard to filing status with no calculations for other paths without manually changing it. I won't be back next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

It is always a good experience using H&R Block, (I mean other than having to pay taxes.) I used the Premier edition because of investments. One is able to complete a somewhat involved return fairly quickly. If you have questions, the pop-ups generally answer most questions, and if not other sources are just a click or two away.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Great Product with a Glitch

The software is very easy to use for me, a non-technical senior. I have been using for around 10 years without any problem. However, this year I got a problem when e-filing the federal tax for my cousin. She has income from two sources, from the SS and the Roth IRA distribution. The entire SS income was exempt. So, the total income on line 7b was zero. The software took it as an error and did not allow me to file online.

One suggestion for older age people friendly use. It is becoming more and more difficult to view the screen of each software conversation page because of the small font size. Please consider enlarging the font to a bigger size to keep me in use. Thank you!
