Good Value & familiar with it

I have been using H&RBlock tax software for years, so I am used to it. Over the years I have run into a few items I didn't understand or I felt were not explained thoroughly, but I have generally been pleased with it. Also, it has been significantly less expensive than "the other guys".
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very stable software. Does have a few bugs/oddities but no show-stoppers! I wish the state program and the state electronic filing fee were lower.

I have used the H&R tax software for several years now. That is part of what I like about the
product is that for subsequent years the information is automatically brought forward. It makes doing the current years filing a breeze.

I've used HRB for several years. Imports data from previous year's return to make things easy. Write down all your pins and password stuff so next year is easy. One small problem- I'm not sure how to get the 4 other filings which were included in my package. I tried to add my daughter and not sure if it worked.

I started using this tax program even when it was called TaxCut and probably earlier when it was offered by Bob Parsons.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

Although I wish you could just click the online status to see what might be wrong on a submitted return as you were able to last year. I did not like this change. The rest of the software worked well.

We have used H&R Block tax software for many years and find it to be easy to use and it has all of the current federal and state tax rules. No down side to using it at all. A few years ago we got our brother-in-law to use it and he finds it good too.
