Straight forward, H&R Block tax software is effective. The problem this year was with downloading updates. The software download would freeze, and when it wasn't frozen, navigating between the Federal and the State was clumsy and not intuitive. I will be reviewing other tax software products next year. Import 2018's returns did work and was a welcome time saver.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Very easy to get through. Lots of detailed questions for getting the most tax credits. I really like the quick email confirmation after we electronically sent the tax return. And we quickly got a confirmation that our tax return has been accepted.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I bought the Federal and the State. Federal Efiled just fine, State return wants me to pay again to Efile. Money is short right now,,, not happy

it is very bad, because it did not allow me to take a qualified business income deduction of 20% of my business income. I had to do my taxes manually and file a corrected return.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Need to be more specific for (Florida) State & Local "Sales" Tax. Are you bunching the two together or? When asked I entered 6.5% to include both STATE & LOCAL "SALES TAXES".
