Overall, the program is okay. Leads me through all the steps of a return including a Schedule C. The feature of carrying forward all the information from the 2018 return is very helpful. It took me a while to learn the trick of adding a new item, for example, a new 1099-R. The "Help" button was useless for me. Could not answer questions like "Do I need to report contributions to a Roth IRA?" (the answer is No), or "Do I need to send in my payment when I submit the return?" (the answer is No). The worst fault was in the Michigan State return. The program did not realize that for older citizens Michigan does not tax pension income. Since I knew that, I was able to find the form and fix it. This glitch lowers my confidence in the program. I would recommend it with reservations.
I have yet to hear about status of my submission and it's been more than 48 hours. So I'm not sure yet whether I'd recommend to others. Not sure if problem is with H&R, IRS, or somewhere else.

The program allows you to decide if you need more information about a subject - if you do, there is a place to click which takes you to a concise and carefully-written page of information. Very nice.
