I absolutely LOVE the H&R Block Deluxe Software as I have a somewhat complicated tax return and was still able to complete my returns (and get both my federal and my NY return ACCEPTED immediately) in a relatively short period of time. Whenever a question came to mind regarding the return, I just kept reading the H&R block advisories and my question was answered almost immediately. I have used H&R Block Deluxe Software for years and will most assuredly continue to use it in the future.

I HAD TROUBLE THIS YEAR WITH BOTH THE FED AND KY TAX RTNS WHICH THEREFORE TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO COMPLETE THE RTNS. THE KY RETURN HAD ME PAYING INSTEAD OF GETTING A REFUND WHEN IT FAILED TO PICK UP THE WITHHELD TAX AND I HAD TO FORCE THE DEDUCTION TO GET THE REFUND I WAS OWED. ALSO VERY DIFFICULT TO GET COPIES SENT TO MY EMAIL ADDRESSES. I WILL USE TURBOTX NEXT YEAR.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
