The program is relatively easy to use and explains the steps well. I may have an advantage in that at one time I was a professional tax-preparer. I really do like the fact that the program carries over info from prior years which makes preparation that much easier. The one thing I found lacking was the way the program treats tax-exempt income. It asks for the portion that is TE for your home state, but doesn't necessarily carry that over to the state return for the non-home state TE additions to income. .
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

For the price, this software is a bargain. I bought the package just so I could print my return, but found my refund was much larger than I had calculated it. Plus the free e-file helped. I am very satisfied.

The software is okay but when I was doing my state form it was clumsy to maneuver. I wish that when it downloaded information from State tax sites it would let me know

For the interest income section, I’m still disappointed in the very limited number of financial institutions provided in your selection list. Otherwise I’d rate this product a perfect 5 stars. It’s easy to use and it has excellent import/upload capabilities for various documents and forms. Thanks.

It reminds me when it’s ready for purchase. I can start as early as I like. The updates are quick and easy. I can start or stop my entries whenever I want. The 5 free efiles are very nice although I never use that many. I have been using it since before efiles and have never had any problems.

Easy to use, if there was only one thing is that you can e-file 5 free fed returns but you have to pay to e-file the state. Other than that I would and have recommended to family and friends.

I have been using H&R Block tax software for many years now and always recommend it to other people I speak with who are looking to save money by doing their own taxes.
