Easy to use and comprehensive. Walks you through the process in a simple and understandable way. Some explanations of tax rules are a bit too simplistic and I had to seek advice elsewhere.
Very good software, with checks for any missed/questionable items and intuitive. Some check box form type items are missed in first pass but identified in final check.
Software needs to accommodate company provided legal services plans. This is considered income and comes with a 1099-misc. However, the software implies that this is self employed income - when it should actually be included as regular income or other income. Other than this little inconvenience, I found that your software was very easy to use and that I would highly recommend it to anyone doing their own taxes.
In previous years, I really liked it. For 2019, however, it has really screwed up my filing, and I'm not sure what to do, the promised "help" is so utterly inadequate and perhaps irrelevant.
In Schedule NR for State of Michigan, your tax software entered incorrect income into all three columns. It looks like your software doesn't recognize resident income from non-resident income. In the City of Detroit Nonresident Income Tax Return Form, your software defaultly keyed in my name & social security # as the filer which is supposed to my wife's name & ss#. I had to print out all the forms and keyed in the information by hand.
