The software is good and easy to use, but I found some of the tax situation support lacking. An example where I ran into issues was the interview for Other Income, specifically the 529 plan distribution section. I was left thoroughly confused by the lack of support in this section, something I never had an issue with when going through a competitor's interview questions in previous years.

Do you need proof as to how good this product is?! The proof is that even I was able to accurately file my own taxes, thanks to how easy and logical this software is to use!!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I have used this software for numerous years and find it works well for me. I like the way it locates your information from a previous year and uses it where appropriate. It does this even if the previous year's information is on a thumb drive. Filing directly is a very useful feature.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I have used this product for years and have found it well designed and easy to use. The only issue I have had is certain situations prevent e-filing and require print and mail. Otherwise, it is a great product.
Very good tax software and relatively easy to use. Help functions and finding forms for tax computation and simplified method for retirement earnings are not easy to locate. Also, electronic filing for previous year piin number requirement not clear.
I've used H&R Block software for years and I'm confident that I'm receiving the maximum refund possible each year. I especially like the fact that the program populates my personal information each year, saving a lot of time. The cost is very reasonable, considering the quality and ease of use that Block software provides.
I've used this product for a few years and it is very accurate and I feel confident submitting my taxes with it. It can be frustrating though. It will almost always make you go back and reenter a line if the amount you need to enter is 'zero'. It can do this several times before it finally accepts the data.
