Good experience, but a few of the questions in the app are still over my head. Would like them translated to plain English to make them easier to answer, or at least provide a help context/link next to the question to help average users answer it.

As always, the software is direct, to the point and easy to use. Just pay attention and use the prompts if in doubt. I have used this product since 2011 and no issues. I give a 4 star for the fact that the packaging and advertisement did not make it clear the disc version of the program would not work on Windows 7 except in the tiny print I could not read off a photo of the box that it came in, so had to do a switcharoo and get the download version. Customer service shined very brightly when I called and asked for clarification if the download version would work on my Win 7 comp before I'd buy it. The rep wasn't sure, but took my phone number and said they would get back to me. Typical blow off I thought, but 2 hours later I got a call. Same guy. Told me the possible cons of using it on Win 7 but yes, it would work.
And it did. Anytime over the years I have had a problem, H&R has been positive help. The product works and they back it up. What more could you want?
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
