I have used this software for the past 8 yrs. I have never had any problems with this product,I would recommend that you use this software its not hard to use and there is a step by step directions.

Easiest year ever to file both my returns

However, I guess I wish there was a checklist of documents listed at the start of the process to make the effort take even less time. I was scrambling to find the previous year's AGI, for example, at the very end, to upload the documents. I also liked the fact you could upload phone pics - but it added to the time working on the return so I didn't optin for those.

A good program is more than just good software

There's more to good software than how it functions for it's intended purpose. The H&R Block software is easy to use, and does it's job of doing one's taxes well. What I like in addition to that is the tools and processes around the software. An example of process is the ease of buying and getting updates online, and the speed at which they are delivered. An example of tools is the PDF printer driver I got with the software (albeit I got it years ago), that I use almost on a daily basis outside of the tax software. I've used the software before is was H&R Block software (1998), and have yet to be disappointed.

Easy to use for me as I have simple taxes, but I feel it answered and covered any tax issues or questions I would have had. I only gave it a 4 Star, because my taxes are pretty simple.

I used the Deluxe program after assembling my documents and receipts, as I have done in previous years. Then I simply followed the prompts and answered the questions. Assembling my paperwork took longer than actually completing the program. I estimate that I finished in about four hours. I found the questions to be straightforward and the formats of each section easy to follow.
