Great DIY tax preparation. The programs has a guide that ask you questions to fill out the tax forms. I've been using this tax program for many years.

I have used H&R Block since Turbo Tax removed their Deluxe version several years ago. This software is so much easier to work with and asks the right questions for me.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I would recommend for fast and easy to use tax software. I have used H&R Block for several years and plan on using it in the future. Would be nice if you could trade some federal e-files for a free state e-file.

Absolutely horrendous this year. It would not e-file my state form because it "did not support e-filing one of the forms" that it had in the program. Usually when I file my state it automatically includes required federal schedules. This year no. I don't know why. Very dissatisfied.

Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this online and downloaded it with no problems. I have used H & R Block tax software for years and have had no problems. I also appreciate the price. I expect to use them again next year.
I would like to see a button that would skip a lot of stuff that does not pertain to those who just want to use the standard deduction.

I don't recall the interview ever asking if I received a 1099-B. When I went to sales of stock and found the place to enter it, the interview did not ask whether to enter numbers from Sec. 3 or Sec. 5 on the 1099-B.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare
