Tax Software was easy to use. My DVD drive crashed while loading the software but I was easily able to load the software from the website and my activation code

H&R software is easy to understand and easy to navigate. The step by step instructions make tax form preparation so easy. Especially at the end , alerts pop up to fix the return . That is a big help. Then electronic filing is simple and fast.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I enjoy the security of using the HR Block software. It prints all the forms which makes life very easy and the math is always correct. Plus it checks for the latest updates online which makes me feel confident. And it offers on line filing. Very nice. I have been using it for years and would definitely recommend it to others.

It is great to have the data imported from previous years. Also, I was pleasantly surprised when the software automatically led me through how to demonstrate my 2019 state income tax refund was not taxable. (I missed the small box to check on the 2019 form).
