So easy to use

I don't understand why anyone would pay someone to do their taxes when there are programs like H&R Block available. You have to give all your documents to them and pay them, when you can take the documents and plug them into the program.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Not as easy to use as last time I tried H&R

Not easy to use. Some confusing and as a result took too long. I may try it again next year now that I am used to it - and - as long as I can use it with my Windows 7.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have not had any problems completing my taxes with H&R Block / Tax Cut Software. I am usually through with the task by the time I get frustrated working on my taxes.

I meant to buy TurboTax this year and still wish I had. It just feels clunky and often I had little confidence that the entries were correct. Oddly enough, to corroborate those feelings, when I went to file the software entered the wrong AGI from the previous year even though it was from H&R Block's software.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Glitchy, sticky state return software. The program selected the wrong standard deduction and would not let me change it. I had to create a new return.
Cons: Hard to prepare

I have used this tax program for 10+ years. This year I tried the download pull from my Fidelity & Vanguard accounts and both worked very well. Saved me a lot of effort !
