I have been using this tool for several years. I enjoy the consistency of the tool and the process to enter my information. I was disappointed that the first screen that pops up when I had a question was a fee notice. I feel answers to basic questions should be available without additional charges. For the one question that I had, I am reluctant to pay that price.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I use the software to create my tax input, then review it with a professional to confirm what I did. The only issue I had was the inability to properly fill out one form related to selling some inherited mineral rights (1040 Sched D)

This tax program is very straightforward. Start at the beginning, answer the interview questions, fill in the required numbers from your tax documents, and you’re done. And how are you going to beat free e-filing? I’ve used this program for several years and have zero complaints. See you guys next year.
