Good software but 3 issues: Can't handle foreign tax credit carryovers. Also, the estimated tax section is weak. For example, if I want to select an estimated tax number for next year rather than have the program calculate it, I have to enter override amounts on each voucher. Lastly, the print font is not bold enough for the amounts on each line although the form prints ok.
I would recommend this to a friend!

MFJ FED and MFS State Problem

Tax program handles simple MFJ FED well. However, state resident requirements drove MFS State filing. The state program could not handle this.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Better for federal than state. Some info not carried over from last year. If you try and compare joint filing v. married filing separately, you will lose some data and have to input it again.
