I'm not sure how I missed entering property (real estate) taxes on my return during the interview. I had to be reminded during the automated review. Please make that tax more clear during the interview.
Otherwise, it's a good program well worth the price.
Pros: Maximizes refund

I have enjoyed tax cut for years. My only disappointment with it is that it charges you for state filing. With the purchase price, you should be allowed to create your state returns with the information from your federal, and you should be allowed to print it at no additional cost.

It was easy to use. I have used this program for years. However, there is one portion of the program that is confusing. When you EFile the Federal, it directs you to "check status", then just sits there. It should go right to the State and not be hung up on "check status" of Federal EFiled return. I have to manually use the "go to", "prepare State on paper" then click on "print" BEFORE it goes to the section where bank information from the State is entered. I think this section of the program needs to be revamped in order for a smooth transition from Federal EFile to the State program. Other than this one section, the program is great and would recommend it.

Few observations:
1) Accuracy Check points to 'data' warning for previous years irrelevant items, even though previous data imported from last years return.
2) Accuracy Check questions income data of the 2nd state, even though adjusted during interview process for 2 states type return.
3) AMT step is unclear.

I have been using this product for about four years and each year it seems to get easier to use. I’ve filed taxes through the office before that. Using the software is similar to going in face to face, it’s all an interview process and before you know it, you’re done! Using it year after year on the same laptop I also have the benefit of easily importing information I would otherwise be frustrated looking for. I LOVE this product and have recommended it to friends and family
