Quality seems to be decreasing

I purchased the Deluxe + State. Had major issues updating the Federal version and received error messages when attempting to install the state program. Never had these issues in the past.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good tax prep at a decent cost

The H&R Block Deluxe tax prep covers everything I need. It's pretty easy and straight forward to use. It does a good job of importing my financial and investment data from banks and investment firms. It would be nice if it did a better job of including definitions and explanations of terms. Adding a few more "click here for more info" buttons would have been useful at times. Often, I know the information but wasn't sure I understood the term or the question, and a link to a definition would have helped. While I did fine with searching the internet for an answers, having it built into the tax software would have been more convenient.

Been using H&R Block Tax software for over 20 years and feel it helps me get through tax season the quickest with mortgage, investments, kids in school, etc. I count on it and will continue to use it in the foreseeable future for our family.

When you told me to check the download entries it doubled the amount. Good thing I know how the return is supposed to look.

Good product except for two glitches.

There was a problem with accuracy checks on the Federal software and the AZ software. I was required to make changes on each return, but the program did not recognize the changes, because there were no errors. On the Fed. I was able to close the form and proceed. The AZ form 321 would not recognize one of the Charity IDs. The ID I entered was correct. The program would not let me proceed without changing my entry. Therefore, I had to file my AZ return by paper instead of E-file.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
