H& R Block software is easy to use and helps me remember and calculate every type of deduction and makes it easy to do my taxes. Without it, I would not even try!

This software has worked very well for me over the past 5 years. I have not had any audits or been questioned about the returns filed. But there are certain parts of the software where I have to go over and over too ensure I understand it correctly.

Acceptable overall - but a BIG GLITCH on e-filing

The software in general was OK: Consistent with prior years. Thorough, easy to use & pulled data from accessible & prior files for faster input.
The e-filing feature experienced a BIG GlITCH & the H&R Block "HELP" resources were a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!

I have used this software for years & H & R has never let me down. It is a clean & easy way to file taxes with plenty of info & explanations along the way for questions someone may have. I love it!

Two Issues involving Foreign Asset Capability

I have been using H&R Block now for many years and I am satisfied with its ease of use and underlying information to help use the package. I have 2 issues: 1) I have multiple foreign asset accounts and this year required 15 continuation sheets, however I cannot include this info in my H&R Block program - should be easy to allow continuation sheets that one can fill out within the program, therefore all my tax forms are included in my H&R Block file; 2) given I have multiple foreign asset continuation sheets and cannot file electronically you still give me the option to file electronically - you need to insure a user cannot file electronically in this situation.

Worst Tax Software I Have Ever Used

I have previously used TaxAct and Turbo Tax. First and last time using HR Block. Worst and hardest to manuver of all of the above. What a nightmare.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
