No way to select standard deduction from the start

I know I do not have enough to itemize but I need the version with state tax return. Why can't I have the option to take the standard deduction.
Cons: Hard to import documents

Did a great job of scanning W-2 from cell phone into the software! Used it for years. Keeping data from year-to-year and Federal to state returns is great. Always one or two minor issues. This year, when you e-file and pay by check, it doesn't automatically offer to print the payment vouchers. Did in the past. Had to go find the form in order to print the voucher for mailing.

Disappointed in waiting for forms

The products well, but they don’t have forms ready for filing the return. I had to wait over a month to file takes that we’re already done. Which if your getting a return means getting your money a month later.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Been using H&R software for at least 8 years and has been a good experience all but twice. This year the issue was Federal was accepted and State rejected for no reason other than "Occasionally, issues within the e-file system prevent us from processing your return". Oh well after three attempts I gave up as it also said if no errors found just mail the return. May have to try TurboTax next year?
Pros: Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
