I need to be able to file a 1040X, to amend a return originally filed and accepted using Turbotax. I inadvertently filed a complete 1040SR, with was of course rejected. Now HRB refuses to allow me to file the amended 1040X, citing the aforementioned rejection. Your agents were unable to guide me as to how to convince the HRB software to go ahead and e-file the 1040X. Else, I will be forced to print/mail the amended return. Does HRB software permit this desired action? If so, why couldn't the agent guide me? Would appreciate a response here.

It is a good program for income tax. One thing is I can’t print a display and only tax forms. I finally took a phone picture of it and sent it to my computer to be printed.
