This year was a disappointment. I have used your Delux version for many years without issue. This year you took me down to the last 10 days before April 15th to fix the program calculation of loss carryovers. not good in my opinion.
Pros: Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

H&R, what happened with your software this year?!

I've used H&R Block Deluxe for the past six or seven years. This is the first year I've been dissatisfied. Two reasons. First: Until a last-minute update (the week before the filing deadline), the software could not calculate the QBI deduction. This was frustrating and had me looking at alternative software before the necessary update finally came through. Second, as I prepared to e-file my federal and state returns, I learned the software would not e-file my state return (D.C.) this year. Wow. Not a good look.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

in spite of the texts for help with questions, they don't answer all questions clearly. Chat with a person or (AI person) would help more. You use to have that feature.
