Generally satisfied. Was somewhat unhappy about the lateness of an update I needed to finish. Not happy about charge to file State return. Can't always simultaneously display all the pages/forms needed at the same time.

I’ve used tax cut for at least a decade. The revision and update approach in 2026 was horrific. Why did it take so long to fix the K-1 issues?!?!?!?!? You fixed it on like April 8th. Ridiculous.

The app was OK until I tried to efile. It kept asking for updates. After updating it still said forms were not up to date. Finally re-downloaded and reinstalled the program and was able to file. Back to TurboTax next year.

I have used HR Block software since 1998 and have been pleased with it. It saved me from going to my CPA as the SW was really about the same. I could also run different scenarios for my tax implications.

I had to verify my entries so many times as the software changed them. Even addresses were changed! Too often the data entry numbers were moved from one entry to another (example data on one 1099 showed up on a previously entered 1099. It took so long to verify (and prey) nothing else changed.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
