You need to review the items that keep a customer from e-filing. I use tax software for its knowledge but also to have it complete end to end. In particular State tax along with the federal tax. I have been a long time tax cut customer. Considering turbo tax to see if it can do better on filing.

Had some issues this year-2025 sub in 5 districts.

I have used H&R software for about 9 years with no difficulties. This year I had an outcome I knew was incorrect and called into help/tech services. They suggested I do the same as I was already doing -rechecking data entries, etc. I sub in 5 school districts. I usually owe ~100 or the Feds owe me ~100 - it is always very close. This was coming out with me owing almost 800 on my Federal which is why I called. I asked if it could be a software glitch. He said none reported. I asked should I start over. Rep said I should not have to but when I did it self corrected to my normal and I successfully filed both federal and state.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Search to figure out how to solve a problem getting an exemption for all my kids. Tried the chat , but it was not helpful. Also, there was another problem that the chat was not helpful with. Only at the end - the review process- was I able to find a solution.

Overall very good. Only suggestion would be to include an entry on the state return (Ohio) for tax exempt income (US Treasuries). Manageable as is, but would be easier with this type of entry.

The text size used is EXTREMELY SMALL on my high resolution screen. I had to change the computer's graphics scaling to 250% for my eyes to be able to read it. To read anything else I had to scale it back. I was changing the scaling back and forth the whole time I used the software.
