I’ve been using for many years. This time I was trying to fill out a form and it would not accept my state code. I tried calling and not sure if I spoke to a person or machine but was only told to try a number for my state. Long story short, I wasted over an hour. Would like to have been told that a fix was coming out in an update.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

We filed married joint. The agi security question to file was very confusing. You had a box for each of us with one filled in. I never figured out until it was too late that I simply put same agi for other spouse. No instructions to do this. So we filed late.

Have used H&R Block yearly for convenience. However, this year I completed my federal return with a few data verification notifications and a good Accuracy Review prior to electronic submission ...only to have the return rejected because of a residential energy credit field incorrect. Then I couldn't figure out how to complete the form to ensure it wouldn't be rejected again and give the credits i believe i've earned. Had to submit to make the deadline but will likely have to spend extra time investigating and submitting an amended return ...which i never want to do. Irritating.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
