Needs to be easier to understand what the impact of entries are. I am very familiar with the actual tax forms and that may be my problem as I try to relate what I am entering to where it will show up on the return (what Form #.) The Form 2210 inputs were quite confusing and could have started with let the IRS compute the interest & penalty instead of burying it. It would have saved a lot of time. The order of the income section could be more intuitive and explained better.
The review section - when you fix problems, they disappear, great. The other review items that are optional keep popping up, even if you are ok with the entry - it would be nice to be able to say "ignore this item" so it doesn't keep popping up.

Why would I give up a tool this good?

I've been using HR Block software since its early days and find it easy to navigate and easy to complete forms. I'm an AARP Tax Aide and still wouldn't switch my own tax filing to their software even though I can use it for free.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I have used your tax software for many years and I have always been very happy with it. This year I was extremely disappointed that I could no longer import my Merrill Lynch 1099 forms. It caused me a lot of extra work. Next year I may be forced to buy TurboTax for this reason.

I hate having to pay taxes, but your program makes it less painful. My biggest complaint would be that the font size should be able to be changed. Even with a larger monitor I have difficulty reading the information. Also, more contrast from the background to the print would be very helpful. Visual problems are common especially amount my senior generation.
