I filed by mail last year and so I didn't have a PIN for last year's taxes. I tried multiple avenues to get help from Block and the IRS and could not get even remotely close to an answer, so I filed by mail again. At this point, why do I even buy tax software?
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since my broker is Merrill Lynch, the decision to NOT import data from Merrill caused me a lot of trouble and extra time.
