OK, but issues

Shouldn't have to install PDF software to save to PDF if MS PDF is already installed. Update to program caused a major deduction to become lost when re-opening the return - had to go find it manually. When activating, it should explicity state that the state return can be completed but NOT e-filed unless mor emoney paid.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I found this version to be disappointing. The fed form worked out okay, but when I worked on my West Virginia tax forms, I got a rude surprise. WV enacted a feature that allows your presonal property tax to be a direct tax credit. To claim the tax credit you must have a letter (MV-1) from the state. Some countines in WV do not send in the proper information to the state, so the state cannot send out the letter. The program handled doing the tax credit okay. But, when it came time to file, I was informed I could not E-file, due to the lack of the letter - that I must file a paper return. Other tax programs, have a feature that allows you to E-File, and then submit a paper affidavit, regarding the missing MV-1 letter. With H&R, I had to file a paper return, provide my affidavit, mail my return certified mail.

Having relied on H&R Block Deluxe (and its predecessor TaxCut) for all my filings, I find that the program can meet my tax filing requirements. I like the Tools feature, and document many of my computations for future reference. I would rely on the Block Audit Guarantee if I ever needed the support.

Several roadblocks encountered with no obvious resolution. When a company defines support as a chat bot and/or another chat with a human they've fallen short. Next year my choice will exclude this product
