the Print options leave a lot to be desired It is not possible to print just 1 or 2 forms after making corrections.

Generally, a reliable tax preparation software. There are three issues which could use some improvement. First, I am often not sure if entries have been used elsewhere on the return and, although sometimes I am assured, other times it is unclear whether data has been properly forwarded or whether last year's entries have been properly applied. Secondly, I am often unsure of what entries are required when there is no instruction given and then, I have to research it myself - need more guidance regarding the meaning of terms, etcetera, as one goes through the "steps". Lastly, would like to see corrections flagged as I go through the steps rather than at the end by your checker. The checker is a good thing but your program should be robust enough to prevent the need for extra review and corrections. Why not include the guidance in process instead of the end.

I have used H&R Block software for years without any real issues. I find that it takes care of the easy things, but is of little use for more complicated issues, backdoor Roth's being a great example. This year, the actual tax calculation for my state return turned out to be wrong. Only by a dollar (to my detriment), but that should not happen.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
