for some reason I had a more difficult time filing my federal form. I finally gave up and mailed it.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

My NY while was rejected never got a decent explanation from Block as to why just to print and mail
Though mailing the rejected return does make sense to me. Though I must admit I have been using the software for years without a problem like that.

I have used your tax software from the time I installed it with a disc. I love your product, and will continue to do so. It takes me about 30 minutes (or less) to complete my fed and state taxes. Refunds come back quick!

First time user of the software, driven by the inability of TurboTax to run under Windows 10. One major shortcoming is it doesn’t seem to have the ability to import the appropriate data from the completed 2025 return to generate the 2026 1099-ES vouchers. That has to be done manually by manually inputting the appropriate numbers. TurboTax for 2024 generated the 1099-ES (for 2025) directly by extracting the needed info directly from the completed 2024 filing.

Well thought out. I needed to call for help with something, and got my question answered pretty quickly! One suggestion: Put the entry place for an IRS Identity Protection pin# on the last page, just before the SEND button. It's really buried now.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
