Basically reliable software with some minor annoying features. I liked the easy interview format and the ability to import data from previous returns. Towards the end of the process, I was asked to create a 5-digit PIN; at the same time an inconspicuous Help question noted I must use a pre-assigned 6-digit PIN. It turned out that to advance to the next page I had to enter the pre-assigned PIN elsewhere in the return AND create a new 5-digit PIN.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

No Ask For Safe Harbor Form Wasted Time

Spent an hour trying to figure out why not asking to attach Safe Harbor form. Yes it's there it's signed and saved. I've used this for years never an issue but it was waste of time and said when u hit send it would ask for it, it did not. This SUCKS!!!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using this for years. It does most of the grunt work for me and guides me through the process. No need to thumb through those tedious government manuals and forms. I'm prompted for everything I need and fills in the blanks from my previously filed taxes. Once I've gathered any forms I may need it takes less than an hour to complete both federal and state returns.

Fix the user interface so text can be made larger

The software does what I need it to do however the user interface does not support making the text larger unless important stuff gets pushed off the screen. This means I zoom the text bigger so I can read the screen, I enter the fields I can see and then I have to reduce the text size back to tiny so I can click on the 'next' button. This needs to be upgraded!

This year there were/are mor glitches than all years put together. One for K-1's wasn't updated until 11 days before filing date. Others are not resolved for printing and mailing.

It wasn't as easy as previous years. A few areas were not explained as what should have been done. AI was not very helpful in explaining situation and in some cases was not able to help at all. What was good was being able to access tax instructions

It is a very good product. However, I wonder why it is necessary. In all civilized countries, the government itself provides a free app to e-file tax returns. So we Americans are getting scammed
