Problems with EFile

Needs work on electronic filing. I had a simple K-1 trust with withholding that could not be e-filed. This does not make any sense these programs should be able to handle all the items in K-1 forms without issues.

I've used HRBlock tax software for a number of years. This current version for 2025 taxes is the familiar interface, so it got me off to a quick start. I like it, for the most part. Some of the inquiry steps are less clear than they could be, but nothing was intolerable.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have used H&R Block software for many years. I have always found it easy and accurate. However, you could do a better job on the Minnesota Real Estate Tax Rebate form. Having a questionnaire, like most of program, would be better than "just fill out the form below".

Product is ok but incorrect information through multiple layers of support took many weeks to just get a workaround that did not completely work instead of fixing the source of the problem in the software was a painful experience.

Ive been purchasing H&R Block software for decades. This year was first time i had a question. Your service was useless. I had a 1099-G for medical insurance and your 1099-G were for State Refunds and Gambling. There was no where to enter the Taxable medical payments. Ill have to switch to Turbo Tax

Cons: Hard to import documents

I’ve been using HR Block Deluxe for 10 plus years and have mostly been pleased however my tax situation has changed over the past few years and I’m finding the product very limited in functionality. Things like limitations on numbers of stock sales transactions and the confusion with entering K1s have made it more difficult to use.
