Very good program -- but with two stumbling blocks

Stumbling block #1: Entering Identity Protection PIN
This is the first year I had to use an IP PIN on my federal tax return. I didn't see the box I had to check when I was filling out my information. IT NEEDS TO BE MORE PROMINENTLY FEATURED. Your directions for finding that box were confusing. I didn't initially see the word "choose" before the word "Miscellaneous." I looked through the items under Miscellaneous, and there was no listing for "I received an identitiy protection PIN." Eventually, after much frustration, I realized that I had to CLICK "Miscellaneous" and follow the rest of your directions.

Stumbling Block #2: I do my brother's taxes. He moved to a different state in 2025. The only ID I had for him was for the state he moved from. I tried that, but the return got rejected, saying that I had listed an incorrect AGI for the previous year. The AGI that I entered was correct. My guess is that I was required to submit an ID for the state where he is currently living. Your program did not tell me that, and I had no way to get one soon enough to resubmit his return electronically. Instead, I had to print his federal return and both state returns. I also had to write two checks and copy them for my records, rather than being able to submit them electronically. Then I had to go to the post office and mail all three returns by Certified Mail.
I worked as an H&R Block tax preparer many years ago. I always buy your software and am generally very happy with it. This year was frustrating for me. I hope you will address the issues I mentioned. Thank you.
