Although better than Turbo Tax, which I have used for many years, I am frustrated that HR Block doesn't have a log in where you can use a different computer. Started on 1 computer which failed and had to reenter all the information again- no way to log in and continue return
Pros: Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this program and its iterations since it started as Meca in 1987 and have never regretted it.
Presently I do my wife's and my taxes and for several years one of my brothers and the IRS has accepted each year
I have not used the State forms as Alaska has ni State income tax

I appreciated the quick response after submitting the federal return. It had not been accepted however the response included a precise and informational instruction to aid in the correction. However, the subject on the state return indicated "pending." I did not open that email, but when checking discovered that the state return would need to be resubmitted. Had the heading on the email been more informational, such as "will need to be resubmitted", or if the software held the state return in a pending state until receiving the accepted indication from federal, it would be an improvement to the software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unnecessary efile limitations which can be improve

Product currently stops to efile return for unavailable Schedule B Form 1116. Since other Tax products (TaxAct) allow efile withSchedule B Form 1116 so I wish the HR Block Tax software could be greatly improved by adding Schedule B Form 1116 for manual data entry.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
