Inadequate help for what seems to be a common erro

So I evidently filed a copy and now can not find the original. My bad. However, the instructions for identifying the version that was filed do not allow recovery. All of the versions of my return now on my computer say I have not filed. (even though I have)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

e-filing snag

Everything was great until I tried to e-file. My activation code was flagged as invalid. I called to get a new code but that one did not work either. I went out of the software and reentered the program and was charged twice for my state return e-filing. Need assistance on e-filing.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Software error caused state to change refund amt

Unfortunately, our state tax refund had to be adjusted by the state, despite us following all the recommendations of the software. This resulted in a delay in us receiving our refund as well as a lower refund. There were no errors found by the software. This is the first time in 20+ years of me using this software that I have had an issue like this, but it was a huge concern and took me a solid 30 min of jumping around in the program to find the error and then another 10 (plus a Google search) to understand what the error was and that the state was right (not the software). Glad it wasn’t anything more major, but still was a challenge.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really Good Software Program For DIY Tax Filers

My wife and I are retired. I am on Social Security. The H&R Block software works well for our simple needs. Unfortunately we had a little glitch in handling the required insurance portion. The Block AI couldn't get us an answer but Chat GPT did. Not too much trouble, but the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Good value compared to other options.

I have used turbo tax or 50 years and had to switch becuse of software issues and the program has ben very dificult to use and figure out problems
