I struggled with the questions. There were several I did not understand. Once when I tried chat I was told it couldn’t answer a question like that. I used it for 2024 taxes and could not find my saved copy to use with 2025 gor information. I need more instructions. I could not find any.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Helpful software to complete a rather painful proc

I have been using H&R Block tax software for over 10 years. My familiarity with the program makes it easier to prepare my rather complicated tax situation. This time, there was a small glitch due to a discrepancy in the 2024 AGI and was initially rejected by the IRS. Going back over my records, I was able to locate an alternative AGI in my 2024 filing, and once entered, our 2025 1040-SR was accepted.
