I have been using H&R Block tax software for more years than I can count. I have generally found the Federal and State versions easy to use, and my refunds in hand within 2-4 weeks. However, I have found on at least two occasions that, even when using the statement/question method Block employs, somehow the calculations seemed unrealistic, and I had backtrack a few steps.

Easy to do taxes but. Software kept telling me I wasn’t connected to the internet; check connection, check firewall, check proxy settings. All were fine. I reinstalled software from the .exe and that fixed it. Then several days later it did it again. Again all connections and settings were fine and it required another reinstall. I’ve never had this experience with your software before; on the same computer.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I appreciate the convenience of the interview style of data entry. What I do not appreciate is the consistent errors in the state forms that have cost me several thousands in property tax reimbursement in past years. Having been burned by that, I was able to submit forms by hand as a workaround. This year, there were a couple issues with the data that was collected vs. what was inputed to the form. This caused errors that kept me from efiling
