Thank you so much for not giving up on Windows 10 like your competitor did. I truly appreciate that you were not trying to force me to purchase a new computer just to complete and file my taxes this year. My perfectly capable Windows 10 laptop and TaxCut Deluxe did the job beautifully.

I am a repeat user of many years. The software has always been intuitive to use and flexible enough for me to jump from the interview section to the "forms" section as needed without loss of continuity. It updates frequestly as the IRS issues new or updates guidlines.

Have used H&R Block tax preparation software on Mac for many many years. It’s fairly consistent and was very helpful when I had a complicated schedule c, but probably overkill now that I use 1040-SR. I’m probably not going to switch though. Rey year seems to have a few glitches though. This year it took 4 tries to get the final update successfully applied. Don’t know why, no log from the update installer to see why. After several reboots, including one in safe mode, I got finished and filed.

Program works fine. But suggestion to improve understanding of the questions a little better:
When a topic lasts for more than one page, put the topic headline on the top of subsequent pages, so its clear that you're still on the same topic. Also...
Use more yes or no questions. Some of the questions start with an assumption that you have that instance, and others assume you don't. Be consistent in the questioning

The software does a poor job handling Roth Conversions. I had to file amended returns for 2023 and 2024. I owed more money in 2023 for the state return and received a refund in 2024 for the state return. Will not be using this software again.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
