Wanted to try something other than Turbo Tax which had gotten more expensive and only good for one filing. Worked pretty well but had a problem with one form which kept coming up as an auditable item. Regardless of what I did it would not resolve. Chat feature was useless as those folks did not know what to do. Finally deleted the form so I could submit my tax forms.
Cons: Time consuming

All good, except no confirm of efiled payments
on April 1, 2026

Everything worked great for my return and efile, but dropped one star because I was extremely disappointed that there was no confirmation or identification in any summary that my taxes due were to be paid directly from my Bank account. No mention in any summaries, or confirmations, causing a risk that I do not want. No carry forward for Estimated payments for ES forms, requiring me to compute myself. When paying my estimates for the next year the IRS or State site confirmed with dates and amounts to be paid, but there is nothing is confirmed if I pay balance due through the software. I will wait to see if the money due comes out of my bank account.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Some parts of 2025 program are difficult to figure out what to do or enter. Tax credit for windows and air conditioner were very difficult; this area took me several days to get done. I am not pleased with this area of the program. Note, even my wife could not understand what information should be entered, she has never had to assist me in the past.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
