I wrote this last year and nothing has changed. Every page in the program has a title. Why can't the "Take Me To" screen list all those titles? Clicking on a "Take Me To" item will, in many cases, take me to a page that is 3, 4 or more pages away from where I want to be. "Take Me To" needs to be fine-tuned. This is the last time I'm going to write this. I never get an acknowledgement or an answer. Apparently, you don't read these these ratings or you just don't give a darn!

Frustrating, not 100% confident in their process

It was relatively easy to enter the data, but I was unsure if the right information was going into the right place. Some questions were not clear enough. It also did not update immediately when amounts were changed. I kept having to go back to the beginning and start all over on some sections. Often when I just wanted to go back one page, it would take me back to the beginning of the section and I had to enter all the data again. That was frustrating.

State function was poor due to little explanation as to what the form was requesting. The program also doubled my mortgage interest which doubled my refund. I knew it wasn't right and found the issue, but this is a tough form to fill out and people with limited understanding of the returns will struggle with these programs.

Generally happy with the software

Purchased on-line. Download worked well. We've used H&R Block for several years. Most of the interview is fine, but there is a glitch in the Farm Income section. I suggested an update to include instructions to select "Real estate you rent to others" for cash rent/ flat fee farm income. FAQ's state this type of income should be entered on Sched. E, but there is no way to access Sched. E directly. Simply clarifying which entry option to choose would solve the problem immediately. I hope they make the update. (There is also a slight glitch in the Royalties section.)
