This is my third year using the excellent HR Block tax prep software. Things became more complicated with RMD's and QCD's this year and I'd hoped to have free online access to help. The availability and cost of such access was not clear.

Well written software for Fed, OK for state

No complaints with the Federal software and the state (SC) is pretty good but guidance is lacking if forms not included in the software need to be filed with the state return when e-filing. Unclear how/when to attach the required forms.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
