I like having all the software & document on my own desktop PC, and this still allows me to do that. Has all the federal & state forms that I need, the interview method works well for me, and I can still directly access all the forms if I like. No extra charge for e-filing the federal, but costs too much to e-file state so I always print & mail that. Does not include form for my local income taxes, so I still have to do that using a pdf from the city.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had to do an override to get my state taxes to work which meant that I couldn't submit online. It was only after multiple contacts with your help desk that I was even able to do that.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, it worked quite well, leading me easily from one area to another. The only issue I had was at the conclusion, the review indicated a couple of errors. I could not figure out how to correct them. Whatever I tried, I was told I could not do. At some point, the errors must have been corrected but I have no idea as to how. Other that that, it was easy and almost effortless.

Cons: Hard to import documents

Download of 1099's from Merrill Lynch was NOT offered this year. Hopefully Block will get it together in 2026.
All else was good. Had the Merrill problem downloaded, I would have given a 5 star rating.
